Basic Camera Flash

Tired of getting red eyes in your photos? Faces hidden by shadows? This course will teach you the fundamentals of flash photography & include topics like bounce flash, fill flash, indoor & outdoor use and attachments & accessories to improve overall picture quality.

Flash Workshop

This workshop will cover the uses of on & off camera flash. You will initially learn to use and get the most out of external flash; with & without a flash bracket. We will explore the use of different types of light modifying devices and learn how these affect the quality of flash photography. We will cover the use of flash in poor light and how to use fill flash for outdoor portraits by balancing flash and ambient light. The 2nd half of the workshop will be devoted to the more advanced use of wirelessly-controlled single and multiple flash units for professional results in the studio and on location.

Studio Lighting

This 4 class series will teach the beginner all you need to know about setting up a small studio. Learn the basics about equipment, lighting styles and posing. You will have an opportunity to work with the latest studio lighting equipment and a model. A DSLR/SLR camera is required.

Portrait Posing 101

Improve your portrait photography by learning to develop a pose, posing children and small groups, analyzing your subject, posing styles, proper composition, proper eye, head, & arm positions. This class will give you a hands on opportunity to work with a model.

Outdoor Pool Model Shoot

Night Photography

Join us as we explore the world of night photography. This class will be held in downtown Orlando where we will capture city life after dark. This class is geared to DSLR shooters & a tripod is needed.

HDR Photography

Do your images have detail in the sky but the subject is too dark? Or are your skies blown out when your foreground is perfectly exposed? If so, High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography can help. HDR gives you the power to create perfectly exposed images, retaining detail in both light and dark areas. This class will teach you how to merge multiple images taken at varying exposures to give you a final image that displays a much broader spectrum of light and detail. You will learn how to shoot bracketed exposures, and which software to use to create a perfect HDR image.
